Andrei Spinei is a Scientific Administrator in the Quality and Safety of Medicines Department at the European Medicines Agency, where he focuses on GMP, product recalls, quality defects, sampling and testing, and international collaboration on inspections. With an MSc in Pharmacy and a background in regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical industry, he brings deep cross-sector insight to the QBL faculty.

Andrei helps participants understand how quality decisions resonate at the regulatory level – and how to lead with clarity, compliance, and strategic foresight in complex, high-stakes environments. His global perspective bridges science, policy, and practice, offering a valuable lens for quality leaders navigating today’s evolving landscape.
