Merle Goddard

Merle Goddard is a global pharmaceutical executive with a career spanning Kraft, Abbott, Baxter, Teva, and now Apotex — leading complex quality and manufacturing organizations across six companies, nine functional areas, and nine countries. She holds a master’s in science and a master’s in organizational leadership, and has served as adjunct professor and co-director of the Masters of Regulatory and Quality Science program at Northwestern University.

Merle is recognized for building high-performing teams, strengthening quality management systems, and championing a culture where quality is owned by the business — not delegated to a function. She has been part of the QBL journey from its early days and joins the faculty to help quality leaders grow in impact and influence.
